Each of our high-quality wool weaving yarns has its own very specific character and purpose. Having so many beautiful colors to work with in a variety of textures is a never-ending inspiration to us here at the studio as well as to our many customers. Swedes have a long history of sorting their fleeces, and knowing exactly which types of wool are best for which purposes, in addition to knowing exactly how to spin for each purpose. Tapestry weavers have been known to combine many types of yarn together for incredible textures and color blending.

Our weaving yarns also make great knitting yarns. Yarns designed for weaving tend to have a tighter twist, making them ideal for sturdy and long-lasting knitted goods in traditional styles.
