Shipping & Return PolicyShipping methodsMost of our orders ship via USPS Priority Mail, which is both cost-effective and prompt. We also offer Priority Mail Express for when you are on a tight timeline. For especially large equipment like looms, we use a freight carrier instead. Shipping feesShipping fees are calculated based on dimension and weight. We try to find the best shipping solution when your order is processed, which in some cases is less than the computer calculation. Worldwide shippingWe welcome orders shipped to both US and foreign locations. Freight shipping outside the US for especially large items is a little more complicated; if you are interested in shipping a loom to a location outside the US, please contact us. Local pickupYou are also welcome to pick up your order. Simply order online, then email our store to let us know you'd like to pick up your items. We will delete the shipping from your order. Some special-order items picked up at Vävstuga may still incur freight costs. Processing timesIn-stock merchandise is usually processed within 2 business days if you choose standard Priority Mail shipping (or Ground Advantage). Please phone us if you need your order sooner, and we will ship with Priority Mail Express. Shipping timesAll of our USPS shipping methods deliver within 1–3 business days or faster:
Freight shipments for large items like looms take a bit longer; contact us with your questions. BackordersIf the merchandise you have selected is currently not in stock, we will follow up with you by email when we process your order. Multiple shipmentsThe merchandise you order may be packaged in multiple boxes, so items may arrive separately. You will not incur additional shipping charges under these circumstances: your original shipping charge will simply be split across the multiple packages when your order is charged. You will be charged for each shipment separately when it ships; the total charges for all the shipments will equal the total for the entire order. Yarn dye lotsIf your order includes multiple skeins or tubes of a single color, we will do our best to fill it from a single dye lot, and will contact you before filling your order if we are unable to do so from current inventory. ReturnsWe do not accept yarns that have been used, opened, or wound into balls. All merchandise returned is subject to a 20% restocking fee, and must be returned within 3 months of purchase. |
