Using a warping trapeze

Using a warping trapeze to wind warps onto your back beam is an ingenious solution to keeping the warp safe and evenly tensioned at all times while keeping your hands free.

A well beamed warp weaves itself. The more tightly you wind the warp threads onto the warp beam, and the more even the tension, the more wonderful your experience will be.
