These are dense drapes that keep out the light. They require a tight sett and very hard beat, resulting in a pleasing sturdy quality. Jukkasjärvi is in northern Sweden above the Arctic Circle and is the home of the famous Ice Hotel where Becky has visited Doris Wiklund, author of Swedish Weaving from North to South. This pattern is from one of Doris's other books. The technique is Daldräll (overshot). Purchase a warp all ready to beam onto your loom at home. No need to worry about the math, simply choose your color and let us do the rest.
