Mallions (100 pack)

The intrigue of the mallion has enchanted many of us for a very long time. This special heddle is used in place of a long pattern heddle on the drawloom for fine and delicate warps. You can see how it separates up to 6 warp ends in one unit, ensuring a clean shed and less abrasion than using four or six times as many heddles for the same purpose.

The mallion is made up of three pieces: 2 texsolv loops and one plastic eye. The top loop hangs on a pattern shaft bar, and a lingo (purchased separately) hangs as a weight on the bottom. Our package contains 200 texsolv loops and 100 plastic mallions.
