Vävstuga treadle lock

This is a very important tool for anyone who needs to hold a plain weave shed open for a long time to do various pickup techniques. You simply brace this tool under the foot rail in between your two plain weave treadles. Then when you step on a treadle, you can slide it underneath the half-moon shaped piece of wood, and voilà--your treadle stays down without your foot!
