Reed hangers (2 pack)

Anyone who has taken our Basics class at Vävstuga understands the comfort of sleying the reed hanging flat in front of the heddle eyes. Our packet of reed hangers are ample length to hang the reed from the top cross-piece of a Glimåkra standard loom, and the ends are marked with red so that you can distinguish these cords from other ones that might be lounging around in your studio. The package contains 2 cords, each 3 yards long.

When Becky attended weaving school in Sweden, jute cords were used for this purpose, and the ends were specially wrapped in red thread so they would not fray. This is our modernization of those older cords.
