Flat stick shuttle, range of sizes

The stick shuttle, the most primitive of all shuttles, is just what you need when you need it. It is usually our preference for weaving with rags, as long as the project is not too wide. It can also be the perfect choice for smaller projects that require some kind of pickup, where having a long rigid flat stick is advantageous. It's always good to have some of these around, just in case. Sometimes a shuttle like this is just the ticket at the very end of your warp when the shed is getting a little bit iffy.
