Moraband (Mora bands)

Barbro Wallin's intrigue with traditional handcrafts from her local town of Mora, in Dalarna Sweden, stems from early childhood. Throughout her life that she has fully developed her skills in fringe plaiting, two end knitting, and band weaving. Now finally in retirement she has had the opportunity to fulfill a desire to pass this tradition of handwork on to future generations, a tradition that would otherwise risk being lost. In Mora Band she shares her collection of 100 patterns that she has collected throughout her life.
